Vedain is the Red Nikto driver of the Prisoner Skiff. He is most notable for being the guard that Lando struggled with just before both were knocked overboard by cannon-fire from the Sail Barge. Vedain is seen tumbling towards the Sarlacc Pit, but we never actually see him get eaten by the Sarlacc (although it's pretty clear that he was).

Vedain is easy to spot on the Prisoner Skiff and shares most of his shots with Lando:
Vedain remains behind his station until attacked by Lando, so he can always be seen at the back of the Prisoner Skiff:
In the close up below, Vedain looks directly at Lando; but fails to catch on that he is sending a non-verbal signal to Luke:
Lando pulls off his helmet and attacks Vedain with it at the start of the battle:
Luke has already taken out four Skiff Guards while Lando still struggles with Vedain:
After the Prisoner Skiff is rocked with blaster cannon fire, Vedain and Lando tumble overboard:
As Vedain hits the ground, his helmet flies off. This is the last we see of Vedain, but we can only assume that he was devoured by the Sarlacc:
